Process for creating a virtual project
1.
Validating the basics
1/ Meet Julien at your shooting space to confirm the number of 360º photos your project will need.
2/ Confirm whether you want your 360° photos with a megapixel or gigapixel resolution.
3/ Validate your project’s user interface with Julien.
Julien provides consultancy for his clients to choose the UI best suited to their project.
Once the basics are done, it’s on to the next step!
For having best 360° photos, the weather condition must be 100% appropriated!
After the shooting is done, it’s post-production time for Julien. This step can take some time depending on the number of 360º photos to edit.
Once the 360º photos are created, Julien will upload them on his web server so they can be reviewed by the client.

Building the preview project and its UI
At this stage, Julien will send you a document with the needed client’ information to create your virtual project: client logo, SEO content, background soundtrack, etc.
For each step, Julien will upload the new content to the online preview project, you can see how your project is evolving.
After the final project has been agreed, it’s time to embed it on your website, to share it on many platforms, etc.
Managing a virtual project is similar as managing a website: the 360º photos and UI can be updated if required.

FAQs
It depends on the number of 360 photos and the time to build the project’s UI.
For example, Julien has done this project in one week and this one in 3 weeks.
After the project is hosted on a web server, using an iFrame is the most common way to display/embed a virtual project on a website.
There are a few hints to know on this point. Julien will advise you once the project has started.
Otherwise, the common response is: not too much.
For instance, a full size uncompressed photo will take longer to load than a virtual project.
This matter only concerns the web server hosting the project.
– If you intend to host the project on your web server, you should refer to your webmaster to ensure that your server provides full security regarding potential hacks, bandwidth/overload scenarios and loading speed.
