Was what I did was my dreams? No, they were my desires. Having dreams and desires is very different for me.
Julien Thomas
Over the years of my travels in Southeast Asia and my upcycle courses for children, I’ve been featured in various French newspapers, magazines and websites.
It all started when I was briefly getting back to France after some of my trips. At those times, I was doing many photo exhibitions, such as in restaurants, cinemas, bars and many music festivals with my photojournalism photos.
People and local media started hearing about my unconventional experiences and projects.
Also at that time, I had the opportunity to make a travel documentary about my journeys and with a famous producer, but such a project (as writing a book too) never materialized. Always, I was not looking for to stay in France for too long, but rather to keep on following my desires and next adventures.

Alongside my many photo exhibitions in France, I have also animated a few conferences about my way of traveling and next ambitions.
In 2014 in Paris, I’ve joined the Globetrotters Festival organized by ABM (Aventure du Bout du Monde) as a speaker, and I also came to be interviewed (video below) about my travels in Southeast Asia and my I Believe We Can Fly project.
All of that are fantastic memories!
